Sam Gafford knew he wanted to be a writer when he kept getting picked last for all the sports teams. He has published fiction in various small press publications and has been in anthologies such as BLACK WINGS volumes I, III & V. In addition to writing several graphic novels like STRANGE DETECTIVE MYSTERIES and the forthcoming SOME NOTES ON A NON-ENTITY: THE LIFE OF H.P. LOVECRAFT, Gafford has also written numerous articles about weird fiction and is considered an authority on the life and work of William Hope Hodgson, a weird fiction and science fiction pioneer. He has watched entirely too much TV through the course of his life and his superhero name is “Procrastination Kid” for obvious reasons.
